The superhero genre is an all-American creation, probably, and like a lot of other all-American things it promotes individualism, American exceptionalism, violence, etc., and by now, the superhero genre is way old and overdone. But why not use it as an excuse to tell cool stories?

They don't need to be about fighting, they don't need to be about being exceptional, they can just be wacky. Photon Bunny is just that.
